It meets the market’s urgent demand for high-power-density, high-reliability PCS, making it one of the standout products at the event.

In the field of battery testing, SUNWOW’s self-developed large-capacity multi-branch energy storage battery testing system also attracted significant attention. Leveraging proprietary patented technology, this system enables evaluation at the cluster level within energy storage systems, accurately assessing inter-cluster differences and circulation currents. It optimizes battery grouping solutions, enhancing the full lifecycle value of energy storage systems by over 5%.

As a representative Chinese new energy enterprise, SUNWOW participated in the exhibition as part of the Beijing Zhongguancun Science City delegation, demonstrating the responsibility and leadership of Chinese companies in the global energy transition. Located in the northeastern desert area of Midong District, Urumqi, the project is the largest standalone energy storage facility in Northwest China. It adopts Soaring Electric’s 5MW centralized energy storage converter and step-up integration solution, which features strong grid adaptability and high conversion efficiency, significantly improving energy utilization and system economics.
The commissioning of this project enhances the stability and flexibility of the Xinjiang power grid, supports peak shaving and renewable energy integration, and marks a new milestone for Soaring Electric in large-scale energy storage. This achievement demonstrates the company’s strength in technology, product innovation, and engineering execution, while further contributing to global energy transition.

During the visit, we had in-depth discussions on the challenges facing Spain’s energytransition, including the large-scale blackout in April. The importance of energy storage in improving grid reliability and supporting renewable integration was a key focus.

We also shared Soaring’s extensive experience in battery testing and energy storage technologies, highlighting our contributions to improving testing efficiency and system reliability for large-scale ESS deployments.

Soaring Electric focuses on two core business segments: energy storage converters (PCS) and battery charge-discharge testing equipment.
The company entered the energy storage PCS field in 2009, participating in early State Grid demonstration projects and accumulating extensive industry experience. In battery testing, Soaring Electric developed China’s first commercially applied energy-saving regenerative load in 2003. By 2010, it was providing high-power testing equipment to leading companies like CATL, supporting the R&D of power and lithium-ion batteries.
Landon Yi stated that these two business lines are deeply integrated. During the R&D phase of energy storage batteries, Soaring Electric tests critical parameters like safety and cycle life. At the production stage, it focuses on final inspection and capacity evaluation . For the application phase, the company offers its self-developed energy storage converters for generation-side, grid-side, and user-side scenarios, enabling closer collaboration with energy storage and battery enterprises.
At the exhibition, Soaring Electric showcased key products including a 6MW centralized liquid-cooled energy storage converter, a 2.5MW centralized energy storage converter, a 215K string energy storage converter, a 2500V energy storage battery condition testing system, and a large-capacity multi-branch energy storage battery container testing system.
Responding to national policy requirements (Document No. 136 for the energy storage industry), Soaring Electric focuses on the commercial application and full lifecycle value of energy storage products.
Its late-2024 launch of a large-capacity multi-branch energy storage battery testing system allows for precise evaluation of differences and circulation between clusters within energy storage systems, optimizing battery pairing schemes and enhancing the system’s full lifecycle value by over 5%.
Furthermore, Soaring Electric is committed to developing and applying Grid-Forming technology. Its ES series liquid-cooled energy storage converters integrate industry-leading response speeds and grid-forming capabilities, successfully validated in projects like Wushi, Xinjiang. As one of China’s earliest companies to obtain grid-forming certification, this technology enhances the active support capability of new energy storage systems for the power grid and strengthens Soaring Electric’s industry leadership.
